Yellow Plant Ramekin
These little ramekin dishes are each carefully built by hand. First the clay is rolled out, then the shapes are cut out. Once they are joined the plant is hand stenciled on using a screen print whilst the clay is still wet. Where I live, on the West Coast of Scotland, every year in late spring ferns start popping up and by the end of summer have taken over many areas of the hillside. I love how detailed they are up close, and from a distance I love how the green looks against the other colours of the Scottish Hillside. I tried to include these themes in the ramekins.
Why not pair it with a matching platter, perfect for serving up delicious snacks.
Each pot is about 7cm across and about 6cm tall.
Please note as all of these pots are hand built they will vary in size and shape. This pot is slightly reduced as the silk screen print is not as sharp as I would have liked.
