Yellow Leaf Ramekin
These little ramekin dishes are each carefully built by hand. First the clay is rolled out, then the shapes are cut out. Once they are joined a fern is hand stenciled on using a screen print whilst the clay is still wet. Where I live, on the West Coast of Scotland, every year in late spring ferns start popping up and by the end of summer have taken over many areas of the hillside. I love how detailed they are up close, and from a distance I love how the green looks against the other colours of the Scottish Hillside. I tried to include this in these little pots. This pot was inspired by the gorgeous yellow gorse flowers on the hillside.
Each pot is about 6cm across and about 5.5cm tall.
