This large platter was created using earthenware clay. Once the clay was carefully rolled out it was cut to shape and then pressed over a wooden mold to give it the raised shape. Once it is dry enough to take off the wooden block, a silk screen stencil is used to paint on the botanical detail. Each platter has a transparent glaze on the top and a bold colour on the bottom.

The platter could be used in any room of the house, but look particularly lovely in the kitchen paired with a few matching ramekins, or hung on a wall as a decorative piece.

This platter has a blue and green glaze with pops of colour created by crystals on the bottom and edge. The inside of the platter has a plant detail and transparent glaze, making it food safe. It is about 30cm long and 18cm wide.
